Wheel refurb

Hello all, to have 4 wheels refurbed how much am I looking to spend any recommendations

Depends on the size, type (split or not), quality of refurb, etc

Expect to spend at least £60 a corner.

If its the silver car you linked in your other post then they are style 106 "turbines" & will be 17inch

The 16inch wheel on Z4s would most likely be "bottletops" & not worth the expense of refurb unless you are particularly fond of them

Highly unlikely they will be split rims at 16" unless they are over 10 years old.

Mr wilks has anyone ever done a 2 tone effect on bottletops? Rim in one colour and centres another? I was curious about doing this at one stage..

I recently paid £250 to have all 4 wheels (18" ///M alloys) completely refurbished, dipped, blasted and repainted back to brand new.

Mr wilks has anyone ever done a 2 tone effect on bottletops? Rim in one colour and centres another? I was curious about doing this at one stage..

That would be like attempting to make a sideboard from pieces of 3x2 :roll: just never gonna look anything other than woeful please don't be tempted to prove me wrong

I'd expect to pay up to £250 to get those refurbished. I once paid £180 for a set of 18's, but prices appear to have gone up. I've been quoted £280 to get my 107's refurbished, including fitting new tyres.

I just paid £330 incl. VAT for 4 wheels to be refurbed including fitting and balancing new tyres. That was at Lepsons, which I guess is top-end prices. They did a great job though
