Carol your wheels look great  and I have never really been a big fan of dark wheels

I now have the car back and although i did expect them a little darker I am very happy with them, the finish is super and in the flesh they look stunning, absolute 1st class job that included zinc plating the wheels, blasting and painting the hubs and calipers, today in less bright sunshine they look a little darker and change a lot in varying light.. looking forward to getting the new vredstein ultrac vortis scrubbed in and stretching her legs...cant get the pics to do them justice but attached some anyhow

They look great - care to share where and how much?

Yes buddy, they were done by F1 Alloys in Chester, i paid £345, the gallery on the webpage isn't working but you can check his work on his F1 Alloys facebook page

Sounds like a top quality job. £345 is not bad if it includes VAT.

Do you think you have any option now to still query the colour? They do look great as they are, but you should get them redone if what you really wanted was darker wheels. Otherwise it will just play on your mind.

x2 it would do my head in every time I looked at them but they do look great and look 100 times better than the standard silver

yes 345 was vat included, john was aware that i was of the opinion they're a bit lighter than i expected, because he was working from a picture i gave him and it was not one of his standard finishes he said if I'm unhappy with them in any way that i could bring the car back and he would have them redone but i would have to choose an exact finish from his range, can't fault the guys customer service, he wants his customers 100 % happy, been in business a long while has a good reputation and gets a lot of repeat custom.... however after living with them for 24 hours I'm more than happy with them tbh and have no intention of having them redone, I think they look pretty awesome now :D

Dark shadow chrome doesn't describe them IMO, however they really do suit the Zeds paintwork so I'd keep em too
