ok, here are pics of my refurb... I haven't actually picked the car up yet but I'm a bit unsure, whilst I know the quality of the finish will be spot on (guy is highly recommended) i asked for a dark shadow chrome and these look quite light, granted the weather is nice today so they will look lighter in the photos but still i was expecting a darker tone to these... whaddya think, not sure if i should live with them for a bit and suck it up or ask for them to be redone.. really didn't want to be without the car for 3 days again especially as we're due a few nice days this week... ugh!

They look good but I would say they are not dark

Did he show you samples before hand?

I'm a big dark shadow chrome fan and I'd say these would be too light for me. I'm still trying to find a good shadow chrome painter to get mind done
 
he did not show me pics rather i showed him a picture of what i was after, however I now have the car back and although i did expect them a little darker I am very happy with them, the finish is super and in the flesh they look stunning, absolute 1st class job that included zinc plating the wheels, blasting and painting the hubs and calipers, today in less bright sunshine they look a little darker and change a lot in varying light.. looking forward to getting the new vredstein ultrac vortis scrubbed in and stretching her legs...cant get the pics to do them justice but attached some anyhow :thumbsup:





 
Wow I like the wheels but I agree with the others, they don't look 'dark' or shadowed. But if that's what you wanted, then that's great.
 
there seems to be a page gone missing from this thread... jamiez4 and mr wilks had commented on wheel spacers and I was just looking for the info and its not here?
 
They do look good looks much better than oem silver imho and looks a great job as well :thumbsup: ,

I had my 107s done last year in anthracite then had 3 coats of chrome over the top, they look dark most of the time until the
sun hits them then they look chrome/silver.
