Wheel Refurb - Colour opinions

Ferric grey for the win 😂

Those are 437s. That's cheating! Ferric grey and diamond cut; bet they take some looking after?
That car looks very, very nice though. I still think common old Alpine White is THE best colour for an E89. OK VO, Melbourne and both the blues look nice but the white just shows off the pretty lines of the car so well.

Open to reasonable offers on these, They certainly do not need a refurb and some cost could be recovered by the sale of your original wheels too.

So, thanks for all your thoughts, suggestions and opinions on the best wheel colour for my Z. After much thought and consideration I decided to go bright silver.
Delighted with the result, the car looking so much better. Also well impressed with EK Blast and Powder coating who did a fantastic job on the refurb. Here's a couple of photos.

The 326M wheels, despite their being made of chocolate, are still THE most attractive wheels for the E89, especially in 'proper' silver.

My wife stills misses her first E89 in alpine white with the 326s. It's owned by another forum member now!
I refurbed the wheels myself (cos I'm a cheapskate and like a challenge)!IMG_8952.JPG

I would go with a Titanium/Gunmetal finish. This way you can see the wheel design clearly.
I'm not a fan - at all - of black wheels. The black wheel trend baffles me as they remind me of the "Winter wheel look", when the nice wheels come off and the black knock-arounds go on.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone - to conclude this thread - I have opted for Silver and they look great on the White car! Delighted with the resultView attachment 287910View attachment 287912
This is exactly how mine looks today (except for black interior) and tomorrow the wheels are going in to be powder coated. I have gone for the original shade of Ferric Grey A80, so I’ll post some pictures here to show a direct comparison between the factory Dekor Silver and Ferric Grey. Hope it helps others make a choice.

Well, the rims are back and on the car. Just waiting for a set of new centre caps to arrive anytime now and some decent weather to take photos. Having been slightly apprehensive about the colour possibly being a little dark, I needn’t have been. The rims have a rich ”Liquid Metal” appearance which looks really good, especially against the white body colour. Pics to follow as soon as the weather allows.
