saw somewhere a 2.5i with 20´s and it looked fugly. High as an allroad quattro and those funny little rusty brakes showing?? gimme a break... :cry:
 
Surely thats just down to a bad choice of wheel and stance?

I think 19" is as high as you should go, mine's on 19's and lowered 30mm, as seen in the pic in this thread. Its wheel'd to perfection IMO :thumbsup:
 
i once saw a z4 stateside with 20" x5 wheels on ! looked stupid. i will see if i still have the image to post for your amusement.
 
T2FFN, yup, I love how easty027 has 19 which give it the nice sporty and beefy apperance and at the same time hide the area which is normally showing due to the small brakes :) great stuff, I want them too :P

Yuck. T2FFN, glad to hear you decided against those alloys. However, that link to the ones from the 5-series look better (technical fit and ride would have to be looked into), purely from an aesthetic sense.

Agree with Mafoo, the ellipsoid are the BEST look alloys. I think the dimensions of the alloy balance out the lines of the car. Was like looking for a needle in a haystack finding mine with ellipsoid.
