Wheel offset on Z4 coupe

Hi guys, new to the board, but have had my coupe 6 months now and have followed some postings previously.

My question is as follows.

I want to get 19" CSL alloys, (reps because i cant part with £1500 for genuine) but i have two solid front tyres on my 18" MV2's now. Would 18" reps on the front and 19"s on the back look stupid and what problems could you encounter?

Cheers,

Rob

If you mean you are going to run with two different styles of wheels front and rear then yes it will look stupid and secondly can you run 18s front and 19s rear, yes if you get the right tyre profiles to keep the correct rolling radius.
If I've misunderstood your question then just ignore me like everyone else does

sorry, i meant csl reps all around but 18" front and 19" rear.

Do you have any knowledge of the correct tyre profiles i would need going by your name?

Assuming you are running on 225/40/18 on the fronts now, you will need to run say 255/30/19 on the rears.
When you change to 19s on the front you will need to run something like 225/35/19 on the fronts
I am assuming you will have wider rears on the csls to accomodate the wider tyres

Dont run 18's on the front and 19's on the rear  Either 19's all round, or 18's all round. Personally 19's do look a lot better though
