Wheel offset advice

Hi all,

I have a 2003 Z4 3.0i... I'm very tempted to slap on 19" VMR v710 (staggered)... The recommendation by VMR is front 19"x8.5" offset 35mm and rear 19"x9.5" offset 45mm.. Unfortunately the shop here only has 1 set of 19"x8.5" offset 35mm and rear 19"x9.5" offset 33mm... Appreciate if any1 knows the rear offset of 33mm is too aggressive for Z4 (non-m), will the rims be sticking out even a little?

Thanks in advance

Don't settle for something that is wrong, get the shop to order the correct wheels that YOU want, not what they have they in stock it will be worth it in the long run.

They are wider by an inch, and then another half inch further out on the offset, so that is 1.5" further out towards the wheel arch.

Far too much difference imho. Get the right offset in all cases, unless you specifically want them different for some specific reason!

RichardG, you are on 235/265 rite?... do you think our zed can take 245/275 ?

Thanks..

I am 235/265, I don't see any need to go 245 (that said I have just clipped the front N\s today GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!) but I am seriously thniking of 275's on the rear when they need changing.

275 wide for 190bhp?

That is pretty mental...!

Will only add cost and reduce nice limit driving behaviour imho.
