wheel lock

Hi,

I have been asked/told to get a steering wheel lock on my z4. I personally don't think I need one, but some weird insurance we have at work means I have to have one to be covered from theft etc. even though its in a secure car park, someones car got stolen from it when people acting as maintenance workers convinced a guard to let them past 1 secure door...this gave them access to the car park and off they went with a car.

anyway it's a long story but can anyone recommend one that will fit the z4 wheel. i ordered a 9.99 off ebay that claimed it would fit but doesn't/ fail!

I've had a 4Tress wheel lock for about 10 years, I've used it on numerous cars and it fits the zed fine. Mine's bright yellow and an older design but the new ones are more or less the same.

thanks blade owner, I had seen a comment on a couple of other shops saying may not fit some bmw/sport/smaller wheels, but to get feedback from a Z owner is useful! cheers
 
Here's mine on a standard wheel. Don't know about a sports wheel though. Best to try first.

I've got that one too, good for peace of mind having it on.
 
my god i thought they went out with the 90's blast from the past. i thought i heard something on the radio the other week that said owers of high end cars were being advised to use them as basically all of the modern security is shite now the crimms have figured out how to get around it
