Does anyone know how / where I can find out the part number for the BMW logo inserts that sit in the centre of the wheels - current ones look like they have blistered slightly and need replacing.

I have the 296 style VSpoke wheels

Many Thanks

I'm not sure about on you E89 but I ordered some pattern ones off ebay and they seem fine, I just measured my E85 ones up and got the same size

I usually phone BMW Costswold (01432 375564) for parts as they offer a discount to BMWLand members. Postage is pretty quick too.

Alternatively you can pick genuine ones off eBay here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-Alloy-Wheel-Center-Cover-Hub-Cap-Chrome-68mm-x1-36136783536-/181478996679?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyre_Trims_Trims_ET&hash=item2a40fdbac7

I would recommend getting real BMW ones. I got some cheap ones and they look OK but one was loose from the start, and needed some tape and yesterday I noticed that another one is loose.

I had carbon fibre eBay ones on my last car and they were loose - I used silicone adhesive to keep them in, but they were a right PITA to remove and clean. I got a set of genuine ones from BMW for my new car for £34, totally worth the money. I've learned that there's a few things not worth skimping on, and these are one of them if you're staying OEM.

My Carbon fibre type bonnet badge was not UV stable and is now fit for the bin. Wasn't to expensive though

I bought mine of e-bay and when I compared them to the original ones taken of they were identical except for the price. There are a lot for sale on E bay but if you look closely you can find the good ones.
