I think you should give yellow a go James.

I toyed with the idea of yellow when I had your car but wasnt brave enough and went with smooth black hammerite.

You could go all the way and have AP brake conversion with the black and yellow callipers :poke:

You know that makes sense

Some APs would be sick but pretty unnecessary

:P i know i corner like i'm on rails, but i still need to slow down...

haha, i reckon i'll go with paint...ap upgrade is $$$$, might save the cash and buy a motorbike... :D

see that smoothrite comes in yellow - popped to halfords after work friday to get some, and they'd run out...who the f*ck buys yellow smoothrite?! well, apart from me..

anyway, plan to get this done over the next couple of weeks, should look good...i hope.

I got some Halfords yellow calliper paint and plan on doing (getting someone handy to do) mine soon.

I can't wait to see how yours or mine look....

Someone on the e90 forum bought a tin of silver and a tin of gold smooth hamerite. Mixed them together and got a lovely metallic yellow effect. It wasn't a screaming bright yellow but very subtle and cheap enough to try. The guy used what was left of the silver to do his hubs.
