Wheel fitment

Iv been looking for a set of wheels for my z4mc, everything is currently standard.

Iv seen a set of wheels that I like but the front rims are 9.5" and et35 offset would these fit with a 245 profile tyre?

I ran a 9" with the same offset and 235 tyre without any issues but I am unsure due to the extra width of the wheel.

Has anyone ran anything close on a z4m?

Even the link given doesn't appear to give a clear answer... The first section states 9.5 et35 is an ideal fitment without spacers, etc.

Then it says in the next section a spacer maybe required (possibly 5mm) and possibly camber plates.

Unless I'm just mis-reading it...

we mounted an 18×9.5″ ET35 front wheel and an 18×9.5″ ET22 rear wheel. This is a spacer free direct fitment that gives the car a great staggered look while remaining square.

The rear fitment is a direct bolt on, but the front fitment requires camber plates, and a suspension that can properly clear the wheel and tire.

So definitely requires camber plates and depending on the brand of your front suspension possibly spacers too.

This suggests otherwise on the last few pages although it may be different as they are 18" but further back people suggest 19" are possible...

(Front) Try to imagine the wheel face of a style 224 sitting 25mm further out yet the rear of wheel 14mm further in ?
Even with a stretched tyre of 245 on 9.5j that would likely foul the arch liner & as prompted a spacer would probably be needed to avoid the suspension meaning the wheel face even further out
I would avoid unless you can try on the car , even a standard 224 with a 235 45 has been known to catch the arch liner on bumpy , twisty roads

The thing is Iv ran a 9x19 et35 with a 235/35/19 tyre and whilst it looked slightly streched it was fine and didn't rub.

Based on this the difference is 6mm either side which I'm 90% the front face will clear with the pins pulled and 1.6-1.8 negative camber... I'm unsure if it will fowl the strut.

Essentially the set-up is a CSL "square" set up (replicas) which would look aggressive on the M.

Alternatively I could get a set of BBS LM's or CH-R's....

Or the standard set of genuine csl's.... Decisions!
