Well following on from Mr Wilks thread about the 108 wheels in 2 different colours http://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=52035. I came across this on eBay http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=230972556135

Does anyone know of such a services available in or around the West Yorkshire area, or possible in the midlands? I'm due to test out th z4 when i go to London soon so might as well cheers check them out, only down the road from me in London anyway.

I've been looking at these people for a while too - looks like a great business model, nice and easy.

My only slight hesitation is the potential quality of the refurb - if you look at another recent thread the quality of the paint on the London companies wheels isn't OEM and is a bit orange peely etc.

JimmyJ - the company you linked to in London are the ones that the previous owner chose to do my wheels - must admit I think the finish and quality of their work is spot on!

hmmmm interesting. I'm going to give them a shout and see if they have the wheels in as there only down the road from my family in london, I'm due for a visit so might just bite the bullet.

FunkyMunky - have you got any pictures of your wheels. Think its a good price to be fair. Considering I hate having to leave my car for a few days while they do the wheels.

I need to take some more pictures of the car - I had a few on a sunny day which don't really show the colour that well at all, along with these iphone pictures :

And this one as I changed the centre caps over :

Had mine done there in October last year, also no problems so far and happy with the finish. Here's some photos:

Car is booked in with them on saturday, thinking of getting the same wheels as FunkyMunky two tone colour combo. Although my car is Sterling Grey, do you think they will go?

Being, a little critical:
If the centre piece of the 2 piece split rims, had of been fully stripped (chemically stripped and shot blasted for example, prior to painting or powder coating), then in picture 3 of 3 above - the number 8 would be very very clear - to the lower right area of the BMW centre cap and not look like a blob, as it does.. :poke: Not good..
..Simply, makes one wonder, exactly what has been done to the rims, during their refurbishment process??
Best of luck with your refurb's tho..

I see what you Woolybear, I'll double check on mine when I finish work. but I've very happy with the results. I'll get pictures up in a sec

Edit: ok some pictures of the state of the wheels before, and after the refurb.
