Wheel colour comparison

As people keep asking about changing wheel colour, this might be useful to get an idea of how darker wheels will affect the look of a car.

I created these comparison images for Lux - that's why it's his car - but he's happy for me to post them for all to see... :thumbsup:

First pictures in each set are the OEM wheels and the rest get progressively darker - the inner barrel has been left as OEM silver to provide contrast.

That's quite an eye opener, i like dark wheels but this shows the detail just disappear by the time it get close to black!

I think you'd have to look at each refurbishment companies wheel samples as different companies may use the 'same' name for a finish but their take on that colour may be lighter/darker than a competitor. The images were just to give people an idea about how light/dark they may want to go
