Wheel choices Z4 Coupe - CSL reps ?

I've had my 3.0Si Coupe for two years now and i'm very pleased with it. Unfortunately i cant say the same for my 108's which are starting to show signs of corrosion. Much as i like the design, its time for a change and time to ditch the run flats too. The tyres still have plenty of life in them so i plan to keep the wheels and tyres for winter use.

I think my mind is made up on Velocity CSL reps - 19" - CA automotive stock the Velocity wheels with Falken 452 tyres. I'd prefer the staggered look and from searching around the forum it seems that 19x8.5 (40 offset) and 19x9.5 (45 offset) should do it.

Just a couple of things before i order -

Will i have any problems with rubbing ?

I take it i dont need any spacers (standard brake setup at the mo)

Ride ? - i'm hoping the 19's with standard tyres will be better than the 18's with RFTs.

This is the look i want

Any advice / tips would be most appreciated.

You sound like you've already made your mind up James, but what about these, close to CSL but looks awesome :sweetheart:

coupe-sport I am guessing your car is still under 3 years old, if so get the wheels replaced under warranty, I know your not planning to use but has to be worth it for zero cost.

Getting all mine replaced on Friday :D

You'll be needing a paintbrush & and angle-grinder then :P

The ride might be similar as you've got rid of the rock hard sidewalls, but replaced them with less sidewall on the 19's.

However you will get more grip and better resposiveness from the Falkens over the RFTs.

Hey, that's my car :D
BTW, no problem with rubbing. The ride is softer compared to RTFs
