Help. Looked everywhere and can't fine either the jack or wheel brace. Did BMW seriously give me a spanner, a screwdriver, a first aid kit and a warning triangle, but no wheel brace or jack? It's a 2006 E85. Ta.

No spare wheel so why would they provide such things?!

FFS, so there defo is not one. My previous car had no spare but still had a jack & brace - maybe you need to remove the wheel to change pads/clean/check etc...

Lol... But atleast you can get a proper trolly jack and extendable brace.. And not the crap scissor and metal bar which comes stock on most cars.

You will also need a low profile trolley jack... While the z isnt a low car as such the side sills go very low down... I had to drive onto planks of wood with my normal trolley jack, on my stock m sport springs.

You wouldn't use a jack supplied by BMW to change pads/discs that's just asking for trouble, and even the wheel braces aren't great.

Yeah I have a low profile trolley jack, but the brace I have is not the right size for the Z, seems BMW use quite small headed wheel bolts - trip to eurocarparts is calling...

Yeah, tend to use a trolley jack adn then axle stands if I'm doing anything that requires a bit of force. It's mainly the wheel brace I'm pissed not to have, I'm going to have to go get one now.
