Wheel bolts

Had the wheels refurbished last week in Ferric Grey. Not sure I’m 100% sold on the colour, but c’est la vie. The silver bolts look a bit crappy. Do I need black ones all round?

I think the Ferric Grey works fine, but can't really see the bolts in the photo. Black would be a bit more hidden than Chrome, assuming that's what they are.

As much as I liked the 108s I had on my 2nd Z4 they have their issues with corrosion around the bolt heads, so I sold them while they still looked smart!

A set of 107s would look good too.

The 103s look nice and have aged well. I have a set of 224s on mine now, but kept the original 103s from 2005 and maybe some day…

224s on mine, love ‘em. Chrome bolts for me Those wheels look nice with the blue.

Are you talking about the lug bolts? I honestly never even paid attention to those. I just replaced mine with standard black ones

Yes indeed I was. I no longer have the car, so not an issue. The problem is with re-coloured wheels. Silver and black bolts both go fine with the original silver wheels, but don’t go so well with anything else.
