Wheel bolts

Hello folks

First post on forum, hoping to be collecting my 03 2.5 z4 later today, how ever the wheel bolts are rusted and the wheels dont have locking wheel bolts.

First question - how much are bmw wheel bolts silver perhaps or is there a web site i could purchase through that wont sting me for 4 sets? and what are the sizes etc

Second question - locking wheel bolts, mcgard the choice?

I have just put McGard locking bolts on my Z, they are excellent quality fully recommend them. If you don't want to pay OEM prices for replacement bolts, have a trawl through Ebay, you might find some there.
 
are the non oem cheap wheel bolts worth it though? are they made of the same quality etc thats what my worries are though.
 
Dunno whether you're interested, but I was just literally going to advertise my McGards for £20 incl P&P. Had them on mine for 3 years.

I thought they might fit the X but no, so selling and will buy some X ones.
 
You can get OEM bolts secondhand that some parts suppliers sell on ebay, but if you are worried about that then go with the dealer ones.
 
McGard are one of the best in terms of theft resistance. I'm looking for black ended ones and not chrome (part number ends in 8 and not 9) - otherwise I'd be in touch senwar.
