I'm going to have the new Vreds fitted next week (I hope). The fella I'm going to use says that he will do a P1 Balance. I have never heard of that before but I'm reliably told it is a more accurate result.

Same price £10 a corner!

A P1 balance was the term he used - He just said it was a more accurate wheel balancing method.
I am also interested how it is more accurate and as soon as I have the tyres fitted and I ask the fitter about the deatail of the system I'll post here!

I've just had the Vreds fitted and he did a "P1" balance.

The P1 was a setting on his Corgi balancing machine. It allows for weights to be positioned at the outside of the inner rim and the inside of the inner rim. He says that it produces a more accurate result - we'll see what happens in Germany this year!
