Wheel arch plastic rivets

Anyone know hoe to put these back in once out? Im very likley being extremely stupid here, but I managed to get them all out without losing the inner rod, I just cant get them back in so they ‘lock’ as it looks as though I need to press them from behind - which in inaccessible due to the bumper being there.

Or alternatively are there any other plastic rivets that could work as replacements?

Edit:
Actually they look different to the ones in mine that I recently changed. 🤔 The ones I used you push the stick in the top and the bit around it expands and secures.

The stick bit is going in the wrong direction. It goes in the top.

Insert the larger bit into the hole first then just pop in the stick bit and it should secure.

Thanks. I actually tried pushing the pin into the round flat end but it only went in 80%.

The pin was in the position I photographed when I took them out but I’m stumped as to how they refit!

When I had my E85 my plastic rivets looked different to the one that you have. The official part number from real OEM is 51118174185 and they can be obtained cheaply from fleabay etc if you Google the part number. I bought a load at the time as they fit the majority of BMW cars. 51118174185.jpeg

You were lucky to get those rivets out, they’re definitely not the right ones. The ones you have ordered are the ones I have. Really easy to remove and replace.

Yes, the ones I had in there I had to push the centres in so I could remove from the liner with a trim tool. New ones should be great and finish it off well. The advice you gave on bumper adjustment for access was extremely useful.
