Wheel alignment - what can seize?

I bought my 3.0 Z4 lowered on 19's and have replaced the front lower arms and bushes, so it's now booked in for 4 wheel alignment at Demon Tweeks. They mentioned that BM's can often be a pain as the adjustments can seize...

Any suggestions what I should douse in WD40 between now and Friday? :rofl:
 
The adjustment nut on the track rods seize up, as said above.

I ended up putting new track roads on mine as they couldn't get the nut to move. They're not that expensive, so worth doing.
 
yup track rods for sure. Mine were seazed so we replaced with new ones. was like £50ish pair

Hi, don't use wd40 as its not a penetrating oil-use plus gas or similar :thumbsup:

The rear camber arm escentric bolts can seize too.

Hopefully you will be ok though

Also worth noting that its best to run Z4M settings if you can, the car will feel better for it.
 
Great read as I need to get my alignment done very soon. On a quick note I read somewhere that the CSL settings were meant to be good. Is there much difference between the Z4M and the CSL? Mines already lowered, was thinking about adjustable camber arms on the rear and mounts on the front (if it makes the adjustment easier/better?)
