Whats your plans for 2016?

So what are your plans for your Z4s for next year?

So far my coupe is getting new Xenon bulbs, new mats and repainted wheels with powder coat. Also if the funds are in positive balance Im also debating on getting H&R Coilovers.

Already done a test to my spare wheel. I think first try is a big yes :D

Changing the light bulbs, painting the calipers (to match the red leather interior) and then possibly setting it all of with those rim protectors (has anyone done this) and then polish and more polish. May even try the roof motor in the boot mod as I like fiddling with cars.

Bodywork, wheels powdercoated, maybe some more exhaust noise.

Also need to fit my facelift rear lights, but I need to buy a facelift rear bumper first.

New rear tyres (F1 Assymetrics) and an Inspection 2 service in January will probably use up all of my Zed tokens for 2016. :o

If there's any left over it needs new mats and a wind deflector. Latter will probably be got anyway as the Zed is definitely off to Le Mans next year and that's too far with the roof off without a deflector.

Not exactly plans - more 'hopes': M Sports heated seats from a 2006 or newer E85/E86. Custom BCS back box with tips.
Nice wheels and paintwork BTW StigJ - looks like a new showroom car

Sort my paint finally. Get rid of all the nasty rattles. And drive my car hard. Lots of track days. And I want to be doing drift taxis at Santa pod by the end of the year. So I can make the cash for a turbo. Simples!!

To carry on using it as my daily driver.

MOT and Inspection 2 in late January so an expensive month ahead.

Thinking about treating it to a professional paint detail around March after (hopefully) the bulk of the bad weather has passed.

Nice to read about what plans other fellow owners have for their cars :)
Maybe some will get ideas from others.

That's some damn immaculate paint there!
Are the mud flaps worth it on the front?

Thank you. Trying to keep it spotless :)
Yes the mud flaps helps to avoid stone chips on the side sills. I see that just in front of the rear wheels there are some defects.

Drive both cars. A lot.

And a list of mods which would take forever to type out.

Of course :) We must not forget to drive the cars :P

You will not regret a seat change if you have the standard ones :)
Thank you. Keeping it as neat as possible.

to maybe consider swapping the coupe for a roadster.

Isnt that the wrong way to go? :poke: You already have the best model

More of this will make my 2016

:driving:

lowering springs/shocks or possibly coilovers
new wheels
new bigger brakes on the front (i think its 330 conversion?)
hard top
audio upgrade
interior refresh (carbon wrap)

Get MM to finish my exhaust.
Fit an LSD
Merge my pre facelift and M bumper so I get the M bottom for my quads, but the P shaped lights top.
Sort the paintwork and get a full paint correction treatment.
Hydrodip the interior trim.
Finally buy a second key.
Go on my advance driving course that the lovely Mrs Spoon bought for me.
Drive it, a lot :-)

To do list for 2016:
- replace all four brake rotors, with new upgraded pads and breaded lines
- take the opportunity from above to install spacers, just too increase slightly the "badass" look of the coupe
- take the car for a spin across the Alps and down to Italy :)
