Whats your next mod and why?

(Yet) another exhaust maybe next and I might get a strut brace. Everyone changes their exhaust every two years right?

i think suspension work for me also, nitrons, or the intrax kit in the for sale section is taking me but..... as my car has only 9k miles its a real ush for me to swap perfectly good suspension imo, so ill probably do this more at the 25k mark, and uprated brakes once the ones on are shot, but again the stock brakes imo are very very good. id like to do some engine dressing with carbon fibre and i REAALLYYY want carbon fibre mirror covers and some sort of carbon splitter.

Next mod for me is probably clear front lights, but that depends on me finding a set to buy...

Purely want them to improve the front end appearance - orange spoils the front end of a silver car IMO.

Still waiting for Dinan to finish tweaking their Stage 2 software remap for the E89, then it's going in...

Wow, I'm impressed

Ha ha, that's one reason I suppose.
Aside from that reason :), I think sportscar for driving pleasure, not for drinking in - I'd rather stand beside the car and drink .
As already mention in the older Z4 anyway it's another source of rattles.

Anyone know if this is a straight swap If I just buy the blanks, is that all I need to buy or are any other parts needed?[/quote]

I'm thinking of fitting them to my blanks, i'll let you know !

Cruise control + ZHP

Bit worried about the ZHP, as it seems on some cars the ZHP knob stays loose. Will find out this weekend.
Superglue it down. Mine's not going anywhere anymore...

I installed a CDV valve first - night & day difference over stock!
Then I installed 4.10 differential gears. Zoom, zoom!!
Then I installed undersized pulleys. Dem horses started to gallup.
Got my ECU retuned by ESS through Eloy at RPi. WOW!
Replaced my stock M wheels with 19" Forgestars; 19 x 8.5, 19 x 10 and lighter than the 18". Tires are Michellin PS2's.
Installed an aFE filter intake. My seat-of-the-pants dyno indicated that I loss power. How can that be?! But I took it off after 50 miles and plan on putting it up for sale on eBay.
NEXT: contemplating on the ESS supercharger but . . . shouldn't I be satisfied at this point????

I wouldn't mind retrofitting Cruise Control for the long drives to the 'Ring etc.

Struggling to know what to do next to mine - it's nearly perfect. FI is the only option left but waiting for the dust to settle on that one, as there seem to be a few problems on the kits being installed by the guys in the US....

like what sixspeed?? fill me in please as this is my next move once its eventually ready, the dates been moved 4 times now.

Seems to be a lot of software problems mainly. I imagine they'll get it sorted in time, but I want a fit-and-forget kit and don't want to be uncovering lots of issues and acting as an extended tester. The actual supercharger hardware is fine, and proven in lots of other applications.
