im currently looking to do some more modding, so to get an idea on what to do next i was wondering whats your next mod and why?

im thinking to go for the gruppe M next, the supercharger that was planned has ben put back more and more and more by ess to the point i now have no clue when its due, lol. so maybe its somethink ill look at next year once its been out for a while, hopefully!!

so the question again, whats your next mod and why???

The TV Module that's been sitting in a box in my house for about 2 years might finally get a look in soon. It's only analogue, but the theory is if I actually do use it more than once I'll get a digital one at some point and just swap it.

Otherwise, I still fancy an ESS remap, get the feeling it will compliment my exhausts well as the feel of the car totally changed when they went on.

Might buy a new tax disk holder too, mine's a bit shabby now.

A "connects" i pod control and m sport pedal set/i got for xmas! i need to have full use of my ipod in car,and want the pedal set ftd, asap :D
also a 1st aid/extra storage box for under the drivers seat(i bought ages ago),cos it wil be handier in car than lying in spare rm

new wheels i bought, with existing tyres ftd to them, put on car for the summer/and old alloys refurbed for the winter, and ftd with winter tyres :D

Not sure, probably try the Vredestein tyres before I get into any cosmetic or equipment modding. That said, I am keeping an eye out for dashboard trim on eBay.

I would like to retrofit the Airbag disengagement at some point so I can take the little one out in the car. Seems to be very pricey though.

Thanks for that, Andy...about 10% of the price I was quoted today!

Might ring around to check other places for the labour to fit the kit.

The best mod I've done is a heads up GPS speedo. It is easier to read than the analogue and more reliable. The one thing I missed from the Boxster was the digital speedo.

Would love a set of CSL's but there is no way I could afford it, so after seeing somewhere on the forum someone who had their Z4M wheels repainted it a charcoal like colour I thought that would be a cheaper option and would look ok on a black car. All I need now is the time to sort it... roll on summer.

Any images ? or are we talking about the iphone app ?.

anyway, the next mod for me as they are worn, are discs and pads. not very exciting im afraid.

Still waiting for Dinan to finish tweaking their Stage 2 software remap for the E89, then it's going in...

Mine has cupholders and I want to reverse them out and fit the blanks in place. Is that a mod? Cupholders in a Z, why the heck........been looking for a pipe and slipper holder but to no avail

Just another rattle source in my opinion ...

I will probably fit the roof module again like I had on my last car, this time with that e-mirror folding package as well.

Gotta have cupholders, my Z3 didn't have them. got in supreme sh*t when I went to get a coffee at the store, took my buddies granddaughter for a spin so she could hold the cup. I guess you aren't supposed to take off with a 15 yr old girl without telling her grandma....

........and that's why you NEED cupholders. :D :D

Cruise Control for me too.. hopfully should give me better mpg on motorway on the boring long journeys.

Ha ha, that's one reason I suppose.
Aside from that reason :), I think sportscar for driving pleasure, not for drinking in - I'd rather stand beside the car and drink .
As already mention in the older Z4 anyway it's another source of rattles.

Anyone know if this is a straight swap If I just buy the blanks, is that all I need to buy or are any other parts needed?
