other than cars, whats your hobby? what else gives you a buzz?

I am considering going back to judo

These days, spin classes. I discovered them in the Summer and I really get an endorphin rush by then end. Its a quick 45 min with great music where I have exerted myself, burnt off stress and anxiety from the day, sweat buckets then can go back to my normal life and feel good about having done regular exercise. They are great to do for dropping the pounds too. Easy way to lose weight IMO.
Previously I was a swimmer, having trained with a triathlon club at uni then partaken in open water swimming trips abroad - Malta and Croatia, 5-6km at a go in the open ocean. Loved it and ought to get back to it
Then as I have mentioned previously on the forum I love travelling and skiing. No better place than the mountains.

been surfing at watergate yesterday and today, great waves, other main hobby is slalom waterskiing on a lake on bodmin moor, very intense chasing bouys so the surfing is very relaxing and social too unless the cave rock local hotties try and hassle you off ryan's peak :headbang:

Physical labour in daily job so zero thoughts of exercise in my social time
If by "hobby,s" you mean "way,s of enjoying yourself when not at work " ? then the following all bring me pleasure
family
friends
wine
food
being in france
walking my dog
a decent film whether cinema or at home
woodburners or open fires

oh & buying & selling wheels :P

Diving, shooting and working my two gundogs, MMA gym and boxing (although only for fun now as 40!).
A few other thing too but not enough time as I do have to fit work in :D

Nope not me I am afraid. My current gym has a 50m indoor and outdoor pool which is a rarity in England.

Where do you train? I'm not far from you and train at the Griphouse. Just do BJJ these days as too old, broken and busy to do it all now.

Other things I don't have time for these days are surfing, snowboarding and cycling.

I wish there were more hours in the day... so gym 4-5/week has moved into the downstairs spare room with a decent weights set up if that counts, mountain biking, and I'm trying to make golf into one too! If nobody found out then I really want a RC plane (fan jet type) but my gf has already said she'll disown me if she finds me in the paddock with one

always make time for at least one ski trip a year to the alps, even if you dont ski, the mountains are a great place to forget work , stunning

Into my antiques, 18/19th century Staffordshire pearlware busts and figures, Staffordshire Toby Jugs, Etuis, 18/19th military portrait miniatures, Georgian furniture and clocks and calling card cases :)

Play guitar and do the odd gigs.

Tim.

Sounds weird in this day and age, but I love reading a good book. I've also coached a rugby squad since they were 7 years old... They are now 13 going on 14 - love it, Church of Rugby on a Sunday morning, mid-week prayers on a Wednesday evening.

Going to the gym, been going regularly (4/5 times a week) for 5 years or so now.

I also enjoy photography although i wouldnt describe myself as a keen photographer, I just go out and snap when i have an idea of something/somewhere/someone that would make a "good" photo... which is usually my Zed

And more recently playing golf :) just started in June and really, really got into it! Usually go at least once a week with a mate or 2 for some friendly competition

Up until a few years ago it was martial arts (which I've done in various styles since 5) Now I'm hitting 50 taekwondo has become a younger persons game and so I've taken up yoga which I love. I might try Aikido to add to the collection but I'm not sure.

Other than that I potch about with technology and cameras.

In No Special Order...

Have a few. . mainly costly one!!

Sports wise most been mentioned. Wakeboarding, snowboarding depending on time of year. A keen (and not too shabby) golfer, mountain biking and horse riding. As said depends on time of year for each but like keeping active so always do a few of the above each week. Still eyeing up my first tri always wanted to do one.

Others again been said mainly, photography, car detailing, diy (must be mad), computers and the one that REALLY keeps me busy is my marine aquarium!

Dam I have a lot of things on. .
