What's your 2016 plans for the M...?

Out the garage in April, 2x new rear tyres, oil service and MOT straight away.
Planning to do <3000 again this year with use being weekends away with the Mrs and a few road trips with friends.
Every intention of keeping it long term but am planning to sell my house in the next 12-18 months to get a place with the girlfriend which could potentially throw a spanner in the works depending on what we can find and where property prices go.

I'm torn between staying standard and fitting some H&R springs and new wheels. I have some ideas for the wheels but really need to look into it more or it could end up looking like a Carlos fandango lol

Both are common mods so you could easily reverse.
I'd definitely recommend changing to H&R/ Eibach springs and fitting spacers if you stick with the 224's.
 
SORN and up on axle stands in a couple of weeks. Hopefully it'll be going into a container with all of my spare parts (including three sets of wheels and a dozen tyres) for a 12000 mile sea voyage at some point next year.

I chose to do this - against all expectations, advice and some pretty hefty pressure ... no regrets :D Still gots my car...



For me, CSL refurb, full detail to fix any imperfections, and any consumables that are due.
 
1. Replace fan belt.
2. Plan to have my stock front rims refinished and will also need new rubber on those rims as well.
3. Full detail in April and fix/repair any imperfections.
4. Protect and waterproofing the top using RaggTopp.
I plan to participate in a number of ZSCCA event on the East Coast from NY to Georgia.... :driving:
 
Having a oil service and vibra-technics engine mounts fitted on Tuesday at Redish
leaving 2016 for another year of m ownship !! :driving:

agree, theirs been no salt on the roads either so any chance i get mines out and about, this winter ha been mild enough to be like our summer anyway, just with a touch more rain ! lol
 
I need an oil service and that's it.

I will probably sell it at some point as I really need a bigger car.

I will have had the car for 4 years this summer as a daily driver, and it's been great. Enjoyed every journey in it, even when stuck in traffic etc. It will be greatly missed when it's gone.

Agreed,had the roof down yesterday driving back from Pistonheads Sunday service at goodwood circuit!
Even if it did attract some funny looks lol :)
 
- Keeping... until death do us part
- Been a DD for the last 1.5 years but have a 530d on the way so the Z4M will be a Garage queen soon
- Mods: suspension (need advice), exhaust, engine mounts & a SC :D
- Will it be a track toy? In 5+ years maybe, not now.
- Maintenance: still under Motorplan/warranty so every thing is covered/free until April 2016… (might get a new clutch)
 
Hopefully getting hold of a good low mile Coupe. Then on with a set of CSL`s and get myself to some club meets :D

I had a drive in the GT4 Bing, in yellow ... how is your order coming along? :whistle:
 
In terms of parts: fit my APs all round and try to retrofit heating into my seats.

As for use, I will be aiming to get to quite a few trackdays and take it on at least one decent European tour. I'd like to attend a meet with some of you guys and maybe organize one or two as well. :)
 
He fell in love with a yelloŵ Cayman in the Porsche museum in the summer. A GT4 would end him :lol:
