1958 Jaguar MK1 2.4 was the oldest car ..... from memory ..... but I was a 50s child so it was going to be old

Mine was a 1968 MG Midget in 1982 when I was 17,

Well mine was a 1974 MG Midget RWM in Red in 1985 when I was 18

mine was a 1970 MkIII midget when I was 15 (I rebuilt it before I could drive).

Mine will be a 1977 Chrysler Avenger 1600 DL in brown which i bought for £150 in 1986 when i passed my test.

Just done a DVLA vehicle enquiry and it looks like it could be still about somewhere probably rotting in someones garage as it hasn't been taxed since 1999

My first car at the age of nearly 17 in 1974 was a 1954 A30 saloon in black which i bought for £5.00 yes thats correct, all running and ok. Sold it on a few weeks later for £40.00, passed test and bought a black Morris Oxford red leather interior 1961 build for £90. Years on and several cars to date a black Z4.

I was an idiot to get rid of it ! That should really read rid of them as I had two but not the mechanical ability at the time - I was ony 16 (ish)

A 1957 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, which was built 3 years before I was born. The car was part of a small chauffeur driven fleet I used to own for weddings and other celebration events.
