This is the central rear differential bolt (m14)..... it snapped

Now to find a stronger bolt... :driving:[/quot

Ouch!!! Let me know how you get on. If i can i will help out I could knock something up out of Ti for you. You would just have to pay material costs postage and a few beers for me

fed up of it or just time for change. i was thinking of a 635d that maybe her indoors might be able to sit in?

or ill just give it a wash. all my modding budget (is admittedly small for the Z as im not interested in adding any bling for it) is being spent on the new engine for the westy maybe get some wheel bolts for the spacers i got of MM a little while back.

my next mod will be the quad exhaust system (next week) then lower it and maybe new front bumper. but the exhaust is first. :D :D

Titanium wont be strong enough. Ti is strong regarding to the weight, but not regarding to the size. I'm bound to the m14 bolthole.
But If you can find a M14x1,5x130 bolt in 12.9 grade steel please inform me  (the stock bolt is m14x1,5x130 10.9)
I can find a m14x1,5x120 12.9 (which is probably too short) and a m14x2x130 12.9 but both are not exactly the same size. The m14x2x130 12.9 will fit (with a new nut), but the 2mm pich means that the bolt is less strong (the core is thinner due to bigger threads) and I have to use a larger torque setting.

It is a metal fatigue issue btw, not a peak power snap.
