What's the headroom like?

I'm 6'2" and wondering what the headroom is like. I occasionally drove my wifes MX5 when she had it but the top of the windscreen cut right across my line of sight which is obviously not ideal. Just wondering if it's likely to be a problem with a Z4 and can anyone point me in the directions of the dimensions. I used to have an E30 325i Cab and the windscreen on that was quite tall so that was great.

I dont think you will have a problem at all.

The seat does go quite a way down so you can sit quite low in the car.

I know someone who has a Z4 roady who is 6ft 3" and he fits in fine..

I'm also 6-2, though mostly legs. When I first bought the car, the seat was set rather high, it hadn't occurred to me to check this adjustment yet, as I didn't notice any real issue with head room or visibility, though the head rail did restrict visibility a bit, it wasn't that annoying.

On the very first real top down drive, I found myself getting pelted on the top of my head by little bits of sand and gravel. This was quite disconcerting, as it was rather painful and was something I hadn't considered being an issue. Of course, it did inspire me to check the height adjustment, and I was relieved to find it went quite a ways farther down, so much that I initially felt slouched into a deep bathtub.

That resolved the gravel on the head issue, though I'm not that thrilled with the bathtub feeling, though it's not nearly as bad now as I thought initially, one gets used to it. To be fair, the tub feeling is still not as bad as the other cars I tested.

6'2" and no problems but the seat is as far back as it goes

6'2 here aswel, loads of room above the old noggin.
Seats as far back as it will go without squeaking against the rear

At 6'4" I have no issues at all……… and it was a concern until I took one for a test drive, then it was a no brainer, one drive - one purchase…… SImples.

You can always open the roof  i'm 187cm btw ,and it's more than enough roof for me
