Whats the first thing you realised after you got your zed?

That i couldnt get it into reverse ! Seriously

The seller had to run over to the car and help :) but loved the fact I got 50+ mpgs on the way home, had several random people come and have a look round the car while i was filling up with fuel, and just smiled the whole way home :D

Bring on the summer ! ( or at least +10 degrees  )

My first real thought after lots of giggling was "I am going to get into so much trouble in this car...."

The Woodhead Pass is a great Road! Bought my Zed back in May 2010 and the weather was lovely so took a roof down trip from Liverpool to Sheffield to show my dad my new pride and joy! :driving:

That its seriously quicker than my mx5 and considerably more comfortable, also its nice having all of the modern things like electric windows and power steering :D Not to mention heated electric seats, ac, automatic everything, electric mirrors, leather, xenons (even the z4's lights are better than the mx5's).

O yer did I mention how quick it is :D

OMG this car is quick!
Top down though cool, is not cool.....I sweated very quickly in the Vegas heat
That no one respects the BMW lane :? :driving:

rofl it was so funny today, I took my mum out for a ride in the new car (she liked it a lot due to not having her back broken over every small line in the road) however the way back was dual carriageway, I put the foot down and float into the outside lane and people actually pull over to let me past!!!!!

In the mx5 they would just hang around forever not noticing me or not thinking I was trying to pass just confused about lanes or something. My speed also managed to creep up a few times without me noticing (doing this in the mx would have been easy to spot with the noise and increasing feel of less control)

I have however noticed a little tram lining and some undesired effects based on the state of some of the roads, but contribute this to the RFT's, next tyre change will be 452's all round I think, or possibly Goodyear asymmetric's if im feeling rich.

That the better half was driving it home, we were on the M5 i was doing 70ish in the Rover  (pedal flat and down hill) and she was GONE and that this could be here first speeding ticket for some time.......and when do i get a drive :x

1/ How much cash I was going to blow on petrol,2/ How long was it going to be before I wore away the front spoiler on kerbs and other raised road hazards.3/ whether i'd ever go back to bikes.4/ I'd be wanting to blast down the route Napoleon all the time ( like I had been for the previous 5 years on the trot with my bike).
