Whats the darkest blue before black?

Hi all,as above really,in the process of getting a zed thats down as monaco blue,but in certain light it looks like a "light" black-i was wondering if there is another blue before the blacks start?-thanx :)
 
Monaco is very dark, the only other one is Carbon black which has a blue tinge.

Got any pics or links and we'll soon tell you?
 
mine is Monaco Blue ..........it has a very slight purple tinge in certain light but buffs up a treat and yes is very close to a kind of black in other light
 
Midnight blue is blue going to black; While Carbon/ Ruby black are black going blue/ red - if that makes any sense?!
 
I think the Carbon black is the darkest. It's only bluish in the right light. My old M3 was like that.

Mine's Monaco, whilst Original Gov. and PCBung's are Midnight - parked next to each other at forum meets during the last year I was hard pressed to notice any difference. General conclusion was MB had a deeper finish, but only a trained eye would be able to tell the difference.
Unless BMW have told us all the wrong colour on their spec sheets, and they are the same colour!?

Carbon black is black ;) not blue.
