What's the best toy.

With the necessary funds I'd be going down this route  I especially like the fact I'd have my own missile defense system
The reason for having this 'Boys Toy' is...To have a great time, like all the loaded folks do. I've had enough of living second rate. If reincarnation happens I'll be paying more attention next time round.

Blimey. The poor old Buzy brain can't quite compute spending 1.5 billion on a weekend toy.

Thats a bit of a stab in the dark cost wise..... between $800,000 and $1.5 billion!
Most of the time you hear figures that are close, like £200- £300.

 Yep, it's a bit of a sliding price, that's the Russians for you

Ah, you see it's all down to being what some call 'minted'. Money's no object so doesn't require 'thinking about'. One simply buys and buys :D

This would be mine

If money was no object it would have to be one of the remaining Spitfires.
Even though I can’t fly it would be great just to know I owned one.

Me too. You can buy a two day 'warbirds' course including the Harvard and then finally 45 mins on a T mk 9 Spit. Your's for only £5K

Then again if I won the lottery .........

The late Jon Surtees' 1 owner BMW 507 would have worked for me, but it sold for just over £3.8 Million!

As my late father once told me. Money goes to money. Shame he went bankrupt. :(

I also like to travel and I have done quite a few bucket list things but the top of my list would be a trip to antarctica before it disappears.

$24,000 for 24 days

You can do it for cheaper like 5-6k but having the national geographic biologists and photographers there would be an awesome experience.

I guess it wasn't the smartest thing in the world for me to turn down a posting to Antarctica then? I'd not even got back home from Iraq and was asked if I wanted to go to Antarctica. Let's just say the thought of going almost straight from one extreme to the other didn't really appeal (and I'd already missed my first wedding anniversary, wife's birthday, Xmas & New Year - if I'd gone to Antarctica I thought it would have been a strain on our relationship. After turning it down I found out she wouldn't actually have minded, and even suggested I stay in Iraq another 3 months to make some more $$$ before coming home, so 4 months in Antarctica probably wasn't all that much in the bigger picture). I thought I could put my name down for the next rotation, but then left the Air Force before it came around again. I didn't realise how hard it would be to go once back in 'the real world'... :(. A lesson in 'seize the day' that I learned a bit late.

Great plane, though I always loved the highly underrated Mosquito

It’s not the normal depiction of a Spitfire is it?
Here’s another - it’s a photograph of a picture I have hanging on my wall

Another unusual depiction I think.

I would have a Riva moored on a lake somewhere nice and warm.
