This is the sort of example that someone is likely to want to use sparingly in the hope of it becoming a genuine future classic.

Perfect MOT history too.

Price wise, if it’s in the sort of condition that the mileage suggests it could be, then top end for E85... but possibly a wait for the right buyer.

If I hadn’t just bought one I’d be PM’ing you

Many thanks for the comments, the car is a really nice genuine example. The last owner had a puncture in of the front run flats ( MOT advisory repaired), hence I decided to but a set of Goodyear Assymetric 5's.

I fitted the Dension and enclosed the USB outlet into the Ash Tray - discreet to say the least.

108's were the original fitment, but like all 108's they had corroded and MV2's where my preferred replacements.

Are you sure you’re not going to regret letting it go?

Finding another one at this mileage will be very hard :?

Picture are of the car with the 108's, not the MV2's currently fitted.

Somebody looking for a pristine low mileage example will pay a premium for a car like this. Have a look on AutoTrader and see if you can find something similar to get an idea of price. Maybe talk to a few dealers. You know they will bid you a price at the bottom end of the spectrum but it will give you some idea where to start. As has already been said you may have to be patient but there are very few cars about with a full history and such a low mileage GLWTS. :D

Thanks for the kind responses, I am thinking that £9k would be about right for the car.

I have found in the past that dealers are only there for one thing, making profits!!!

Your car looks to be an exceptional example OP, and it's good to see that whoever chose the spec ticked the box for M-Sport seats!

GLWTS.

Thanks, It's one of the reasons that I bought it - Black Heated Sports seats, Black Piano Dash, Comfort Pack, Reversing Sensors, not forgetting the IMPORTANT part condition/low miles/owners and history.

Agree with the above, decent spec (shame no xenons), super low miles, good colour/interior. 9k seems about right.

Thank you for the kind comment, it really is a superb car and has wanted for nothing during my ownership.

I originally wanted Sat Nav and Xenons, but finding a low mileage car in this cars condition with my preferred spec was going to be an impossible task.
But, at least it's possible to buy some superior head light bulbs these days and I have plug in Sat Nav which is rarely ever used.

Are you selling it because you are looking to buy something else or need the cash?

Seems a shame to get rid as it would be quite difficult to replace (should you decide to at some point in the future).

Do you know why it wasn't registered until March 2009 when it was manufactured in October 2007 - was it imported to the UK?
It also looks like it has most of the available options but can I confirm not the wind Deflector? Thanks

Hi, I have no idea about why it was not registered until 2009, but was it a request by the NEW owner that they had an 09 plate on their car - vanity?

As far as I know it's not an import - not registered as one.

It does not have a wind deflector, I've had them on previous Z4's and personally I think that they are a waste of time - an old fashioned view of mine is that it's a sports car - wind in the hair motoring.

Your comment got me thinking Mr T, I think this is a Sport model, not an SE.

The giveaway is the M steering wheel. I think it's one of very few things you couldn't spec on an SE. Suspension looks to be sport too. In fact everything about the car suggests Sport not SE!

Lovely to see such a well kept, low mileage example. Very rare indeed these days OP

You are correct, on "BMW's service" website it comes up as a Sport and it has the Sport Spec.

I would imagine that the 09 registration plate was perhaps due to the cross over of the E89 model and mine was one of the last old shape being built, hence the delay in the NEW owner getting the car in 2008.

Perhaps BMW wanted to flood the market with the New 89 model for maximum impact.

I bough my 3.0si sport back in early Feb. Paid nearly 9k for it from a dealer but he gave well above the going rate for my 2.0s so probably ended up just short of 8k but it was the car for me. Not as low mileage as yours though, link below to it
