pvr said:Why? An agreement is an agreement and accepting a higher offer without coming back first is not right in my book.
That is what happened to my offer at least. Not sure who got it in the end.
*edit* - Just explaining what seemed to have happened to me regarding this, not encouraging gazumping myself.
Gruppe M's gone, but will PM price on other parts...Rye said:Really interested in the Gruppe M and the Supersprint back boxes & X-pipe if they havent already gone!
Please PM me asap...Hope i'm not too late, but i know i probably will be![]()
Similar happened to me on lowering springs with a different seller. Offered full price with immediate payment and collection in a couple of days only for it to be sold to someone else you could collect earlier. A little selling etiquette is needed on here in terms of selling guidines.pvr said:I did offer the asking price minus a discount for the RPI scoop which I did not need. I would still expect someone to come back to me and state that another offer was made to allow the first person to complete the deal or pass on it.
I heard nothing the next day, nor the day after until I enquired on time scales a few days later and I was told it was sold to someone else.
I am sorry, but I don't work that way
There is a fairly comprehensive set of rules for buyers and sellers here...VvrooomM said:A little selling etiquette is needed on here in terms of selling guidines.
Yep start a new thread with prices then everyone knows where they stand.flatout said:...everything will be going on FS section here (for two weeks), then Zpost, PH and ebay in Jan/Feb with prices...
All discussions including offers, acceptances and refusals should be shown clearly in the thread (not by email or PM). Once a deal is agreed you may use whatever form of external communication you like to finalise payment details etc.
