I would have preferred if they could have found a better solutions as it does suck up quite a bit of room...
IMO it looks more out of place in the coupe than the roadster...

it could make a good box for a subwoofer for us mortals without an m badge though, just a bit of fibreglass to stregthen it and we'd be away!

Sh*te design hence the reason I went to the trouble of keeping my battery under the floor when I went to a proper quad system

All it does is puts weight up high and removes a lot of the effectice boot space, making a hard suitcase a challenge.
