What’s going on with the E86 market?

Just seems to be the market in general, I had my E86 up on the forum for 10k and not one enquiry yet a well known BMW seller on Facebook has just listed a similar car for 5K more 
It’s done 10 k less miles and slightly better spec from new but someone will buy it because it’s a “dealer”.
Bike market exactly the same got a bike up for the same price as the Z , dealer’s asking upto 5K more for the same model but nothing seems to be selling.

I don't think they had cruise either!
In any case I'd rather have a 5 door and pre-facelifts have HPAS.
Anyway back to E86s. Values were really low in 2019. I got no real interest in my Montego Blue 91K miler in December 2019/early 2020 at £7.5K. If only I had kept it a few more months.
Low mileage ones seem expensive to me these days, although I suppose there aren't too many around any more. I bought my first one on 54K miles with full BMSH in 2014 for £9,600!
Given how bulletproof N52 engines seem to be if I was planning to use the car I'd save a few grand and buy a higher mileage one based on my experience with 130,000+ mile 3 Series.
I know a 3.0Si is much cheaper to run than an M but some of them are advertised for more than I paid for my 76K mile MC, and as great as they are the M experience is just on another level.
Owned 2 130i over 10yrs.
First was pre-facelift 5 door, 2nd was an immaculate 3 door LE. Great cars but never felt special enough for a weekend toy, and too nice if you have a good one to then use daily.. And you deffo sit on them rather than in them. I loved the engine and sound but despite having them for so long (and upgrading all suspension) they never excited me. Moving to the Coupe with the same engine was a real treat.
But very versatile, put the seats down and theyre a van.
Over the years I collected a bundle of 'BMW Performance ' parts. Zorst, intake, shortshift, splitters, sills, spoiler, brakes.
They have a great parts catalogue of you find them.
Sad that so many are either stripped out track weapons or trashed daily mules.
