What's a stubby & whats special about them?!

Your car goes from looking like a radio controlled car to a sleeker mean machine.

If you get a decent one reception doesn't suffer.
 
I understand that the aerial, stubby or OEM, is only for AM radio since there is a FM aerial located within the rear bumper.
 
It's a dingy short aerial that replaces the long one and apparently is an enhamcement although in reality it just looks like someone took a bolt cutter to you normal one and your too tight to replace it. :poke: :fuelfire: :evil:
 
lol @ tim... so really it's just down to personal taste. Can't even think what my normal one looks like lol.
 
It's a replacement for Mr. Whippy who now has a new function of Rodeo in the outdoors Wild Thing ... Which is while going doggy over the boot, you whisper your ex's name in her ear, give Mr. Whippy a few slaps on her thigh & see how long you can stay on for...
 
Nope your all wrong size count's, When it comes to engine size you all opt for the biggest,why change,large one for me it works. :rofl: :thumbsup:

I had a stubby on my last car, and it was a particularly sorry example (not to mention the loss of reception).

In the end, I shaved it off. It required a bit of welding and respraying, but the effect surpassed the controversial benefit of the stubby.

My new aerial was an aftermarket amplified one, attached to the inside of the rear hatch window.
 
Think we should start a Mr Whippy group as i like the longer version and think it enhances the look of the Zed. In any case - I 've said it before - I'm not going to emasculate my Zed - it's like chewing off the end of a puppies tail - no docking for my Zed thanks! :fuelfire:
 
i got such terible reception with the peugot/citroen one, i just have it laying in the trunck for the estetics if i want to, but for reception i just keep the big one on.
