Whatever happened to JE?

Just wondering whatever become of JE & his car, I appreciate I may have missed a similar thread (maybe multiples), unfortunately searching for 'Essex' or 'Turbo' yields a lot of hits.

The last thing I heard was that JE's car was still in bits & that he'd supposedly lost interest in it, rumours were he was looking at a Porsche.

So, did he ever get his Zed back?, if so in what condition was it in?, if he never saw his P&J ever again I'd genuinely feel for him.

Please can this not turn into a "we told him so" topic as I'm sure he's heard that enough already, just asking out of genuine concern.

He hasn't been back, and we are not allowed to talk about it.

Whilst I don't understand the background behind this I respect it nevertheless.

We are allowed to talk about it - just not cast aspersions on the parentage of a certain owner of a certain garage in a certain part of a certain county that has certainly made claims about the certainty of fitting a certain turbo to a certain car...

JE is shunning us on here but is still active on Facebook, last updates on the car (a few months ago) were that he was expecting to get his car back in June - nothing since

Hopefully it wasn't in too many pieces when he got it back :(
Hope not, like a lot of us on here JE put a lot of time and effort into his car - so let's all hope that he got it back in decent condition and will pop up soon and give us his take on what happened

+1 Never been a fan of wallowing in another man's misfortune - good luck to JE whatever the outcome, but hope all is well with his car and we'll see him on here again sometime soon.

Nicely put Worcester Spoon.

Jonny, If you are lurking here please say 'Hi', loads of peeps here that would be happy to hear from you & your mission to repatriate your car.

That's putting it mildly zermatt.
Forum banter aside must have been really effin stressful. We all put money time and sentiment into our cars.

Hope he says hi but most of all glad he got his car back.
