What your favourite thing about your z4?

The whole package with a........Dont mess with me presence !!! but its the long sweeping bonnet that did it for me.........kinda reminds of the e-type jag

the only car up to this date where I have said to myself I have to have it after just viewing it once then visiting the bmw site to find out more..... next day placed an order for i after a quick test drivet. I have not seen any other car in terms of its look/lines do the same to me since no doubt one day something will come along at least below 50k. I think the z4 E85/6 looks a lot 'smaller' than it did back in 2004 mainly due to everything else being more beefy.... everything gets bigger it would seem 3 series.., z3>z4 as time goes on but the car still looks as modern as others on the road even today. You cant really say that about the S2000, RX8, Boxster (dated interior)

X2 :)

something neither roadster or coupe owners can't disagree with :)

I will also agree

Though I love the look of the same area from the outside at a distance, just the way the whole car flows down the sides actually.

And the noise when 'on it' between 2,000 and 6,000 RPM. There is just something about the harmonics that are almost more felt than heard, makes me grin every time  :driving:

The view of the stars on a summers evening.

The howl of the S54 above 7000 rpm.

The joy of leaving Porkers costing twice as much, too wonder why they bothered. :D

The fact that Bangle finally got it just right with the E85. 8)

I agree with all though whom said they loved the lines. from the front wing swooping down the door and to the pert rear wing. i would however change the shape for the headlight and the tail lights if i could but it would be too big a mod i fear. i have recently found head leap eyelids....thoughts?

Love the looks, love its ass :)
The E85 never quite did it for me after my Z3 but the E89 grabbed me.

I love the metal folding roof and that I can open and close it on the move. (Suns out, open - raining after 5 mins, close!)

I agree about the roof on the E89. But I think they ran out of ideas on the rear as it looks somewhat bland and soft compared to the Z3 and E85/86

My favourite thing about my Z4 is just being a bit different. I've only ever seen one other interlagos M roadster in my ownership and that suits me fine.

Also the 'sh1t i forgot how fast this thing is' moments when you drive it with 'spirit' :D

All of the above exclusing the coupe comment :P

The grumble/popping/backfiring you get when accerlerating in (it seems only 1,2 or 3 gear) gears and sharply back off the throttle..

The favourite bit of my car is the Total.
Other than the stubby that was on the car when I bought it my car looks exactly how it left the factory. Not interested in degingering, skirts, uprated headlights, black wheels  etc.
I do appreciate a lot of the mods that have been done by others but just not for me.
Have succumbed to a few internal mods which I probably wouldn't of done if the car was a weekend toy or a garage queen.
My car is used everyday for work and have added a few things to make the commute a bit more tolerable.
Gaptech........Could probably do without this. I'm absolutely cack at getting the timing right on the button presses.
Centre armrest.......Brilliant for spectacles, phone, wallet, small change etc.
Intravee........Couldn't do without this. If you've got Navigation and love your music then this is for you.

the bonnet reminds me of an e type

the rear quarter panel reminds me of the spitfire

the whole car looks perfect in every way - even the coupes look good - but that its a roadster and harks back to a golden age of the motor car and provides a unique driving experiance makes it a perfect car

sat in it feels perfect - there still isnt a car that i would swap if for - except a bigger engine - and even the 2.5 sounds nice and isnt too slow

chris bangle got 2 cars right, the fiat coupe and the z4

I have more than one fave bit. The view from the wing mirror over the sexy curved rear wing, the whole look of it's sexy arse, the view over the long bonnet and the creamy sound of the silky smooth straight six. I have a few bits I don't like too, but all cars have these.
