Could do your bumper if you're near Sheffield
I didn't have the space but I bought a 10x10 metal shed. And the compressor was 160 off ebay.
It's mainly patience that is required. Everything else you learn through research and practice like anything else.

I'm in Nottingham, but would gladly drive on up.. especially if the Panters are playing the Steelers on the same day
I've got the space, and the compressor.. just not the skills.
Reckon if I could watch n learn, or do and and be instructed, I'd get it![]()

I Would do but I don't think it'll be economical you being in London!

RJS-Z4 said:Cheers mate, appreciate that. Never thought of the black primer to see imperfections, great tip.
Also, when you say mix lacquer with hardner and thinners, is that all three separate items, so lacquer, hardener, thinners, or is it lacquer with hardner, and thinners? And also, are they an even mix.
Do you buy your paint online? Got a link at all? I'm not even sure what size my compressor is, all I really want to have a go at is my front bumper, and then maybe some little bits for fun. Nothing properly serious!
That's the end of my questions, promise![]()
