3. Raising the beam of my lights so I can actually see where I’m going.

i saw this on another post, something about 2 screws either side, i think i located them but wasn't sure, any chance of a pic to show me what to look for?

thanks

just looked online and there about £60 for a clear replacement...... not worth it so will only consider if mine breaks, thanks for the heads up :)[/quote]

Yep they are not cheap. I wasn't keen on the clear one I preferd the standard one but that is more expensive than the clear ones too

are the aero worth it? ive had these on a couple of other cars and they were total shite. ther were decent ones from costco (Goodyear) kept missing bits of the window as the arms didnt press them down hard enough? on my focus it was right in the middle of the screen!

mine could do with replacing at the mo

I'm getting mine tomorrow. I'll not rush into anything and of course I've not had a lot of time to look at the car in any detail, but I already have in mind the following:

- CDV delete. I found on the test drive that my 1st to 2nd changes were not good - the engine revving before the clutch had bitten. Only realised afterwards that it wasn't just my incompetence!

- Tart up the centre console. These seem to attract scratches over time. Not sure how yet. Wrapping looks nice, but I'm concerned it'll be too after-market and probably won't stand the test of time. Painting is another option and I've also found this on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/black-sti...rg=20140131123815&rk=3&rkt=15&sd=390811723689

- Sort out the kerbed alloys and get some new rear tyres (they're already non RFTs)

- Maybe do the DISA replacement

Of course, I could find all manner of other more important things once it's in my garage - but I'm really hoping not!

wrt mods, I have done absolutely nothing to it. :tumbleweed:

Hang on I changed the OEM Conties for VRED S, then changed those for MPS's

Major mods from me -

1. Fitted the thingies that fill the gaps when the roof is down
2. Removed the thingies that fill the gaps when the roof is down

Purchased a 2003 Z4 3.0 MT on 10/27/14 - 43,791 miles. It previously had the top motor replaced, all coils upgraded to Bosch, and upgraded steering column installed.

Checked brakes - pads look good, but, dust is unacceptable. Order low dust pads/brake fluid/front rotors for DIY.
Read the Owners Manual and scoured the forums - removed the front license plate holder.
Clean/Condition interior. Gummi Pfledge all rubber seals.
Clean motor.
Headlights polished and coated with Opti-lens
Talked to top shop about spots on the convertible top. That say - probably tree Sap. Recommend Acrysol to clean it - worked very well. Can be used like the Goof off that wouldn’t touch my spots.
Ordered wiper blade inserts - Bosch. They didn’t work - as the two inserts are different lengths. Will start over here.
Took to a local indy for complete inspection/service; remove clutch delay valve; reprogram memory settings; activate the Clown nose so that it blinks when the car is locked; coolant flushed/replaced; re-lubed the steering column for easier adjustment; checked strut bolts for proper torque; checked rear sway bar bolts for proper torque. Car checks out “very good”.
Car came with Michelin Super Sport tires on the front and Bridgestone Potenza run-flats on the rear. Install jack pads: order 12V compressor; get a tire repair kit, jack ordered.
Replace rear run-flat tires with Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3. Difference in ride is amazing.

After reading more, I plan to replace Transmission, Differential, and Power Steering fluids as per Mike’s old time maintenance schedule - although Indy said that it wasn’t necessary - the car is 12 years old. Cabin Filter is on the way.

So far, it's a wonderful car. Still need to upgrade headlights and polish/coat the car - maybe next month.

You would easy get £30 for your red one on here if it's not cracked.

Not much to my coupe but on the roady i recently bought i have cleaned it & changed the alloys , then i cleaned it & changed the alloys , then i changed the alloys before going on to changing the alloys
Love it as it is now & not much else in front of me other than fuel & miles :driving:

Ah, sorry - I thought you were asking the last thing I did... The first thing I did was move the intravee fittings that PVR refers to installing above  ... So that I could fit a Brodit mount for my phone.

CDV (Cluth Delay Valve???) whats the purpose of this and is it a good/easy mod??

Spend a lot of time in your boot lol

Not for me, but I took the mentality if I were to be a leading light in the Albanian mafia...what I'd need, and a well lit boot would be one of them.

first thing i did was get rid of the stubby. The mod bug then began
