What chance do motorcyclists. pedestrians and cyclists have with people like that that can't see a bloody large rock fall! :?
 
Am I the only one thinking.. if there's police and cameras there already, they should put some kind of barrier further up the road ?? :thumbsdown: :headbang:

This was on the news and as I understand it the police were screaming at him to stop. Waving arms and stuff... He was looking at them trying to figure out WTF....and then he saw the rockslide at the last second.
 
I'm on his side a little more, I mean.. there's no excuse for not looking, & it is poor driving, but if he drives that road every single day and suddenly there's heaps going on on the side of the road, it's obviously going to distract him - on a blind left bend... 90% of accidents on roads within a mile of your house etc.

I think it's inexcusable that they can all be stood there and no one thought to mark the road off as a hazard.

DRIVE AT A SPEED YOU CAN SEE ITS CLEAR TO STOP IN............... :poke: If not blame someone else.............
 
The driver is a complete knob, but in his defence was clearly distracted by the cops which took his attention from the road.In the cops defence they cle :D arly thought he was going to hit it so they shouted at him. On second thoughts, he's still a dick........
 
The driver reminds me of David Patrick Kelly who played Howie on K-Pax and Jerry Horne in the Twin Peaks series.
