What tyre size would you run on an e86 3.0 si?

18x8J - ET34 front
18x8.5J - ET37 rear?

225/40/18s? or would they be stretched at the rear?

FWIW, the OEM Bridgstone wheel fitment specs:

Code: 
Size           Recommended         Range
225/40x18            8             7.5-9
255/35x18            9             8.5-10

As you can see, 225/40 on 8.5 is not stretched, 255/35 on 8.5 is a bit cramped but acceptable
Other brands may vary slightly
