What to do with these wheel badges?

Hi all,

I've got four spare wheel badges in pretty poor condition. Last night I decided to take them apart to see how bad they are. As you can see from the photos these are certainly not useable.

However, I'd like to "do" something with them that would suit my car. I will throw the old BMW sticker away, clean up the metal plate behind and prime the two plastic parts but has anyone got any interesting design ideas? It would need to suit a black coupe with black 108's. I have seen the barman emblem (a while bat in a black circle) and while I think this is quite tacky it might actually work on a black zed. Anyway, as with most of my posts. I'd like some other ideas so get your design heads on and start suggesting!!!

These are like the barman ones.

Or shall I get my coat?

As the wheels are made by BBS I'd go for something like this:

I'd just get the newer style BMW ones which are rounded...

rather than the older, flat ones...

I've got the newer ones on the car at the moment which is why I want to do something different with these. As the connecting clips are the same underneath I should be able to fit the more modern 3D badge but I just want to try something new.

Hi Roundozo I refurbed mine last year i managed to get some rounded badges from flea bay i cant remember what size they were but they was slightly to big so i trimmed them up
then i sprayed and lacquered the plastic clip to match the star on my 108s.

That looks the mutts, I like :)

I'm bored and fancy doing something with them. Bin seems pointless without even giving it a go. If they turn out to be cr*p then the bin they will go.

Did you manage to remove them without taking off the wheel? Mine are shot and was thinking of buying a new set but really don't want to have to take wheels off (I've read some threads that say you need to) ?

Its probably easier to take off the wheel otherwise you may damage the rim trying to get them off. These are old ones I have left over. Washing and priming to begin tonight.
