What to do about my AUC I picked up last week?

As a 'regular' customer, as many have said on here should not be a problem.

Take whoever sold it to you to oneside, privately mention what you've just noticed when you're by the car & then ask them what they can do about it.

I'd be amazed as a repeat customer if they didn't apologise & just sort it out (with a new aero skirt, not the other way round)

Well still not heard from the dealer as to what they are going to do about the side skirt not matching. And still not had the service book which they promised to forward on to us. Having had the car for 3 weeks now, not too impressed.
They also told us that the car had just 1 owner from new, but the V5 has just turned up showing that there are 2 previous owners.

Anyway, here is a quick iphone pick of the car on a recent jaunt to the cotswolds:

Sorry to hear of your issues. If it was me I would return the vehicle and request my money back. No service book, which would make me suspicous from the start, wrong info on previous owners and the side skirt issue. Certainly enough to make me reject the car. Ther decision must be yours of course.

I'm with AlanJ on this, all sounds a little suspect to me. In fact aeroskirt mismatch is the least worrying part :(

Just to add: My windscreen wipers stopped working this morning.

Was a bit hairy getting to work.

This isn't going well.

Not good mate. It never rains but it po.....oops, slightly inappropriate.

Yeah, many dealers don't value repeat customers. I had x3 new beemers and the lazy jackasses wouldn't make any sort of effort when I wanted something doing without a big fuss

So a week ago they finally sorted out the sideskirt and the windscreen wipers were fixed.

Great you might think.

But since picking it up, the sideskirt has been done badly enough to mean that it has some flat patches of paint.

And even though we have the service book, they seem to not be wanting to print out the full history for us.

After all the trouble and hassle of going back there 3 times already to get them to rectify the issues, I now have to go back again.

Not once have they done one good will gesture, not even replaced the badly worn tyre which is below 3mm, and a lot lower than the other one on the same axel.

My thoughts now is that they can just have the damn car back if they can't be bothered to even sort that out for us.

Why bother buying AUC and paying a premium if you get dreaful service and a car that isn't perfect even a month after!

Angry is an understatment.

Ohhhh no.... Only one aero skirt is like having one bollock.... Will do the job but severly lacking :-( get it sorrttteeedd..

can't you send it back and find another do BMW have a 30 day returns policy like ford Renault etc on used approved cars

Got to be honest I would not keep it after all that trouble, its the bad taste it will always leave.... :(

Loads of good examples to be found

I would ask dealer to sort out side skirt paint and ask if they will replace tyre as a goodwill gesture for all your trouble ( x 5 visits by the time it's sorted.

Perhaps they will also provide some free treats for your guide dog? :poke:

Return it and complain loudly to Tim Abbott (and anyone else who will listen)
