What speaker system is installed?

Hi again everyone,
I have a 2007 Z4 3.0i with 10 speakers. With the VIN decoder it shows I have the "S676A HiFi speaker system" option. I am needing to replace at least one speaker behind the seat headrest. Not the bottom subs.
Some ebay listings have speakers listed as HiFi and some list as Top HiFi. :-?
I do not have the navigation unit.

When I look at RealOEM.com it shows these 2 diagrams. I believe both options have 10 speakers.

In both diagrams they look the same, but with different part numbers listed.

How do I tell which speaker system I actually have?

There were 2 upgrades with 10 speakers offered.

Option 676 was the BMW H-Fi loudspeaker system.

Option 677 was the THX Certified Hi-Fi loudspeaker system - Professional with 430 watt amplifier.

If you put your VIN into a decoding site it should show which option your car had.

Pedantically the 676 does have a DSP function, it’s just not accessible by the end user, it is used to tailor the response of the various ispeakers to various bmw models..as the same unit is used across the whole bmw / mini range for many years..
