What size non-RFT for the optional 19" 326 wheels?

I'd like views on the best make / size tyres to fit to an sDrive 35i with the M-Sport package but without the adaptive M-Sport suspension.

I was thinking as 235 x 35 x19 fronts and 265 x 30 x19 rears with either MPSS or Goodyear Eagle F1's.

What do you think - what's your experience on switching to non-RFTs?

Just my own preference but i would drop a size in width on the rears to 255 & up the 30 to 35
More comfort , more alloy protection & less arch gap  there are no downsides that i'm aware of :?

Surely 265 / 30 will be better on the speedo accuracy and ony 18mm total diameter difference Andy?

Besides which, the question was aimed at E89 owners not E85/86 owners! :poke:
[You can answer after your next purchase!] :P

Post a pic of your rear wheel/arch . from every E89 ive seen on any standard spring the rear tyre looks way under sized & arch gap too much .
On a 9j 19 rear i would fit 255 35 19 rubber , possibly even 265 35 but i would never have 30 , that's just my own take

I just fitted standard sized mpss to mine a couple of weeks ago. Don't know why you would fit different sizes ! 5% won't make much or any difference. Also keep speedo reading correct. Will post some pics tomorrow.
Best decision I've ever made  just wish I had done it last year :)

First thing i do when i switch tyres from oem spec is check speedo against Tomtom , ,most times upsizing the profile actually makes the speedo more accurate :o
BMW seem to fit very low profile tyres by comparison to VW or Mercedes . My sons Scirocco R is on 35 profile 19s , our C Class estate has staggered 18s 8j & 8.5j with 40 & 45 profile
OEM sizes can be tweaked within reason with no issues

Random E89 pic taken off google that just happened to be our own "metal lickers" car
For me the tyres can easily stand to increase in wall height :?
Plus points - better ride, more protection for alloys , less arch gap / can't think of any negatives ?

255 35 19 from 265 30 19  tractor ? :P I don't think so but that's just my pesonal opinion .
Speedo would be under 3% altered & arch gap would close by 10mm
If you like the skinny tyre look then stick with stock sizes :?
Only BMW seem to go for the very low profile tyres , whether 17,18 or 19 Audi , VW , Mercedes all fit the next size up in profile :?

Andy i sure your right. But i`am thinking more the warrenty line ! I had my 1st service yesterday & they did mention the non runfalts. Spoken to them in the past as i have mentioned on here before regarding removing runflats & they told me not to worry about them. If it`s a new car or still under warrenty i would be sticking to standard tyre sizes. Insurance too could become a problem.
