Bit early, but was just thinking about this one. Next May, the car will need a brake fluid change but will still have about 8k miles left until the Inspection I service.

Should I bring the Inspection I service forward or do an intermediate Oil / Brake fluid service only without resetting the service indicator and wait for the Insp I mileage to arrive ?
 
Well, the oil needs doing as it would be in there for 2 years then.
 
Ah, ok... It'll be due anyway then so you'll have to do an Insp1 otherwise the service history will be incorrect.
 
right - was not aware that Insp I was age driven as well.

Guess I will need to do another Scotland trip, as it added 3000 miles in 4 days :D
 
It's a aximum of 2 years between any service period.

When are the tappets done, Inspec1 or Inspec2?

I hope it's mileage only otherwise it will be a waste of money with a low mileage car.
 
hmm, so that sounds like I would need an intermedia oil service first before the mileage reaches Insp I levels then.
 
Don't forget you need to drop the car off to the dealer the night before for shims. The car has to be stone cold.

16k now, added almost 3k during the Scotland trip a few weeks back. Running very nicely thanks, so keep your grubby fingers off :D
