What screw for ashtray/centre console...?

Have realised that I'm missing the screw that sits under the black plastic ash tray which firms up the fitment of the centre console. Does anyone know the part number for this or have a spare one knocking around (needle in a haystack I know!)? Have looked at realoem.com but that seems to suggest 2 types of screw (part 15) http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=DU92&mospid=49422&btnr=51_4931&hg=51&fg=35 and that I need 8 or 12 of them?! I'm confused.com!
 
just order both from sopers - well if they will take such a small order

i have the same issue with my cupholders/vents
 
Just go to your local dealer really, I have picked up screws etc for next to nothing. They find the code on their system and you know it will be right.
 
I'm thinking the first Part 15 says 'Screw, self tapping' whereas the other Part 15 says 'OVAL HEAD SCREW WITH WASHER'.

So looking at the empty screw hole, I can only assume it would be the second one, not a self tapping screw, right?! But I don't need 12 of them?!!!
 
I think it means when you order them, they come in a bag of 12 - bit like buying stuff from B&Q or Screwfix
 
Phoned BMW Dick Lovett @ Bristol. They will do the part I mentioned above. It needs to be delivered from Germany but they can do one screw for me.

Downside is it's 55p, bit pricey. Might ring Sopers to see if they'll do a forum discount on it. And they won't take cards either so will have to pay cash and unfortunately I don't carry that kind of cash around with me.

Might sleep on it.
