What Psi/Bar pressure with CSL's?

I have CSL's with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19.

I currently have 44 psi (3.0 bar) and was recommended that from the tire shop.

What do you guys find the ultimate pressure?

Many members on the Swedish boards have way way less.

I don't track or race, just cruise.

Z4 M with H&R springs.

bmw called for 35psi all round on the actual CSL. if its good enough for that car.... its definitely good enough for us.
 
My preferred pressures in these sizes is 33psi rear, 32psi front. Can't see anything wrong with a bit of experimentation around the low to mid 30s. 44psi is way off.

That's 100% correct… and this is the case for the CSL.
On the street I drive with 2.3 bar front and 2.4 bar rear. On track with very hot tyres I have them on 2.25 bar front and 2.35 bar rear for a little bit more grip. It was advised by Michelin tech people to keep a 0.1 bar difference between front and rear for optimal grip and balance with the 19" Michelin Supersports. Anything above 2.4 bar (35psi) is IMO to much pressure and makes the car slide more (hot tyres on track) so I keep the pressure on 35psi or slightly below this.

Franzino, I'm with you on this. When I took my car to The Ring for the first time last year, I started out with my "Fast road" suspension settings and tyre pressures, to see how they performed when I could properly push the car to its/my limits. With the recommended cold tyre pressures the car would slide and squeal when the tyres got up to working temperature, but when I let some air out so that I was running the recommended pressures when the tyres were hot, I found that the grip considerably increased and the squealing stopped. I found that these pressures equated to 2 bar cold all round.

I've got h&r's and 19" csl reps with 32 to 34 psi. Feel perfect to me :-). Lots of poor surfaces in west wales worst luck but lots of awesome roads as well :-).

There are 9 settings on the dampers on my ACS suspension. I settled at position 2 at the front and 3 at the rear (0 = hardest) with the tyre pressures at 2.2bar front and 2.35bar rear when hot with the OEM Conti M3 tyres. If I'd had longer I would have experimented with slightly stiffer settings.
 
You advised me to put the rear a little softer then the front... I now have 5 for front and 4 for rear on my PSS-10 (1 = soft / 10 = hard). I'm going to experiment with 5/4 & 5/5 & 5/6... Harder then 5 or 6 seems to hard for the ring.
