What part is this (centre console?)

I just replaced my airbag module and was putting the consoles back together. The last screws were installed, and I see this hanging out on the carpet. It has Velcro on the back. What is it, and where does it attach?

It was neaar the dash and has a ribbon cable of about 600mm

That looks like a Nokia CK-7W BT hands free kit dial/button with the front part missing. The module itself will likely be found behind the glove box.

Thank you. It sounds like I don't have to take apart the consoles. One time is enough for me

If you are interested and want to try the BT for your phone, I may have one intact button left somewhere. I had the CK-7W on my zed — which was ok for phone calls but had no BT audio. It was from the Nokia 6310 era after all…
